Licensing question

Aug 29, 2015 at 10:27 PM
Hi.

I would like to use this library on my iOS 3D game engine (Xamarin), but LGPL forbids it as the iOS code is linked statically and the LGPL license requires to be able to replace the linked library by the user.

Would you mend the license to add a clausule for static links or change the license type to something a bit more permissive as Apache 2.0 or MIT?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

sure, MIT licence sounds reasonable. I will update it most likely later today.

Ok, the code in the main library is now MIT. I will ask Matt to update the license on the pages as well as I don't have access to that.
